has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and completed a four-year medical school in classical Chinese Medicine in 2007, along with an 800 hr internship.  She is National Board Certified (NCCAOM) and licensed in Oriental Medicine and massage therapy in both North and South Carolina. She received advanced training at the Lincoln Recovery Center in Bronx, New York for the use of acupuncture in substance abuse. The NADA protocol (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) is also used for PTSD, smoking cessation and other anxiety issues. She combines a variety of Eastern and Western modalities: Acupuncture, Cupping, Massage, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Craniosacral massage, Reiki Tummo, Qi gong, Heart based meditation, Nutrition and Herbal medicine to successfully treat her patients.

Kristin has worked within the medical field for over 20 years in both Western and Eastern Medicine. She has been involved in a variety of specialties, including being a research specialist for the Medical University of South Carolina and an instructor and board member at Daoist Traditions, a classical Chinese Medical school in Asheville, NC.

In addition to her private practice she is in training to be a Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, CCAOM, Clean Needle Technique instructor for the southeast area.

Kristin enjoys spending her personal time in nature, being active outdoors, gardening and cooking. She offers an attentive, holistic approach to medicine to help you attain overall well-being.
